Where human × AI teams
run companies better.

Captain gives every project an AI-native group chat where humans and models share the same context, make decisions together, and move work forward in one place.

Bring AI into the conversation. Talk to AI like a teammate, in the same group chat, with the same context.

One room. Shared context. Humans + agents.

Every project becomes a persistent workspace where people and AI can talk, remember, and act together.

AI in the conversation

Agents work directly inside the team chat: answering questions, pulling context, taking assignments, and moving work forward.

Agents built for your team

Each agent has its own role, tools, skills, memory, model, and permissions.

Under the hood

Intelligence is interchangeable. Context is not.

Captain coordinates the models, tools, skills, memory, and permissions behind every agent.

What teams run on Captain.

Tap into what your team knows

Ask a colleague’s Captain a question, pull their perspective, or find what they know without interrupting them.

Never dig through old work again

Ask Captain about anything you’ve written before. It can find the document, pull the number, and even redo the calculation for you.

Never forget the follow up

Captain remembers the emails, reminders, and promises you said you would send and brings them back when it is time.

Build your own team of AI

Use GPT, Claude, Gemini, and specialized agents for different jobs, then put them all in one group chat with you. One person can start operating like a whole team.

Frequently Asked Questions

My team already uses ChatGPT or Claude. Why do we need Captain?

You can keep using them. Captain is built to make the models your team already loves much more useful together.

Instead of AI conversations living across separate tabs and personal accounts, Captain brings people and AI into one shared workspace. Everyone can work from the same project context, files, decisions, and history, without constantly copying and pasting information between tools.

You can connect your own OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or other API keys, or use Captain’s managed access across supported models.

Think of Captain less as replacing ChatGPT or Claude, and more as giving them a place to actually work with your team.

Do we have to choose one AI model?

No. Captain is model agnostic.

You can use GPT, Claude, Gemini, local models, and other supported models in the same workspace. Different agents can use different models depending on what they are best at.

If your company already has API keys, bring them. If not, you can use Captain’s keys instead.

Your workflows, memory, tools, and agents stay in Captain, so switching models does not mean starting over.

How is Captain different from adding an AI bot to Slack or Teams?

Bots are great for quick questions. Captain is designed for ongoing work.

Agents can join group conversations, understand the project around them, remember what happened before, use connected tools, take assignments, and ask for approval when they need it.

And when the work is done, Captain remembers the useful parts: what was decided, what changed, what worked, and what should happen next.

So instead of AI occasionally dropping into the conversation, it can actually become part of the team’s workflow.

What does Captain remember?

The things your team should not have to explain twice.

That can include conversations, meetings, files, people, decisions, tasks, corrections, approvals, and outcomes.

Captain turns that history into reusable company context, so an agent working on a project next month can understand what happened this month.

The goal is simple: less re-explaining, less searching, and better continuity as your team moves faster.

Can Captain connect to the tools we already use?

Yes. Captain is designed to work with the tools already running your company, including Gmail, Google Drive, Slack, Notion, Linear, Asana, and other connected services.

An agent can pull context from your files, understand what the team decided, prepare a customer update, and create the next tasks without making you manually move everything between apps.

You should not have to rebuild your workflow around AI. AI should fit into the workflow you already have.

What can a Captain agent actually do?

Whatever role you give it, within the boundaries you set.

You might have one agent focused on research, another helping with customer operations, and another coordinating launches.

Each agent can have its own role, tools, skills, model, memory, and permissions. That means Sage can understand customers while Quill keeps a launch moving, without either one needing access to everything.

As your team gets more comfortable, agents can take on more. You stay in control of how far that goes.

Why does Captain have a skills marketplace?

Because teams should not have to reinvent a great workflow every time they want AI to do something useful.

Captain has its own skills marketplace where agents can learn reusable capabilities for things like research, reporting, analysis, support, follow-ups, and more.

We learn from the best workflows, tools, and agent techniques being developed across the internet, then turn those ideas into skills that teams can actually use inside Captain. We also build exclusive Captain skills designed specifically for collaborative, multi-agent work.

Instead of spending hours figuring out the perfect prompt or workflow from scratch, you can equip an agent with a strong starting point, customize it for your company, and keep improving it over time.

The best way to think about it is an app store for what your AI coworkers know how to do.

How do you control what AI is allowed to do?

You decide.

Some actions can happen automatically, while more sensitive actions can require a person to approve them first.

For example, Sage might be allowed to read files, summarize a conversation, draft a response, or prepare a refund automatically. Actually sending the email or issuing the refund can still require sign-off.

Captain keeps permissions, approvals, and action history close to the work, so your agents can be useful without becoming a black box.

Do we need engineers to set Captain up?

No.

The basic experience should feel more like onboarding a teammate than configuring enterprise software. You can create an agent, give it a role, connect the tools it needs, and start talking to it.

If your team does have engineers, Captain can go deeper with custom integrations, workflows, model configuration, and company-specific deployment requirements.

You can start simple and make it more powerful as you go.
